After over 200k on the odometer the S54 in this E46 M3 bit the dust and spun rod bearing. Instead of repairing the spun bearing we were able to source a newer S54 to replace the original motor. And so the same thing didnt happen again we bulletproofed the newer engine with a set of VAC Performance Coated Rod Bearings & ARP hardware. To add some performance and sound to the S54 while the new motor was going in we installed a set of Active Autowerke stainless steel equal length headers. After the motor replacement this M3 was given a second chance at life and will be on the road for many years to come!

While the replacement engine was being installed we took the time to place the new Active Autorwerke Stainless Steel Equal Length headers onto the S54.
