The Akrapovic Evolution Titanium and Carbon Fiber BMW M6 exhaust is one of the lightest we have ever gotten our hands on. Made from the same material that Formula One teams use this exhaust system increases performance through less restriction and gives the 4.4L Twin Turbo V8 the growl it deserves. The valves in the exhaust work in conjunction with the M-mode controls and allow for a fire breathing straight through exhaust exit or a quieter muffled exit for drone free quieter driving. The exhaust pipes and mufflers are constructed out of space grade titanium and the tips are made from carbon fiber, with these materials the Akrapovic exhaust is 23.1 LBS lighter than the stock cat-back section. In addition to the weight savings the Akrapovic exhaust provides power gains which are seen through the entire rpm band and without requiring removal of the factory catalytic converters. The exhaust is also one of the only exhausts to receive a European Union EC Approval certifying its construction and quality.
In addition to the exhaust our client wanted to turn the power up to 11, we recommended the Burger Tuning S63tu JB4 with Bluetooth Connect Kit as well as Performance Chargepipes and BMC High Performance Air Filters. The Jb4 allows for the ultimate in customization with support for everything from a simple stage 1 with gains of 100 wheel HP to gains of 240 wheel HP with the high boost file, race gas, and methanol injection. The S63tu JB4 also supports larger turbo upgrades and essentially every other performance upgrade that exists for the M5/M6 S63tu platform. The BMC Air Filters provide all the gains of a full performance air intake system with none of the cost, a good compliment to the air filters are the Burger Tuning Performance Charge Pipes.
