Audi TTRS : Track Prepped Turbo Inline 5 Insanity!

Harking back to Audi’s rally heritage, the Audi TTRS marked the return of the turbo inline 5 for the US market. However, Audi only brought over a few thousand examples from Ingolstadt making them incredibly rare. A welcomed sight in the shop, we had the pleasure of working on this cherry barely 4000 miles, Ibis White TTRS. And as an avid track day enthusiast, our customer wanted his TTRS setup for the absolute maximum performance on the racetrack. Adhering to both form and function we put together a well rounded list of modifications that takes advantage of the already incredible platform the TTRS sits on. With additional power, stopping, and cooling this TTRS will be a monster on any track our customer takes it to.
The modifications include:

All of the parts laid out prior to installation. Take note of the massive brake pads and Wagner Tuning front mount intercooler.

Closeup of the brake pads, stainless steel lines, and OEM Porsche oil & coolant caps.

Carbon Fiber 034 Motorsports Intake to match the OEM Carbon Fiber in the engine bay.

Up on the lift midway through the installation.

Wagner Tuning FMIC installed!

With fixed height front and adjustable rear height the MSS Lowering Spring Kit is the perfect match for the racetrack.

Very aggressive front end on the TTRS.

Carbon on carbon! 034 Carbon Fiber Intake was the last component to be installed in the engine bay.

Matching the OEM font the Defi boost gauge looks like it came from the factory.

Stacked shop full of Audis

Functional carbon fiber spoiler.

The HRE FF15 Flow Form wheels look great on the TTRS.

Big OEM Brakes! A sought after upgrade for many other Audi owners.

Carbon on carbon!

Fully race prepped and ready to hit the track once the weather cools down in Arizona.

Ibis White with the Carbon and Black accents is the perfect combo on this rally bred turbo Audi.

RennSport, the highest tier of Audi road cars. And thanks to the 2.5L Turbo Inline 5 the TTRS can directly trace its heritage back to the rally cars of years ago.
